The hosts could recall left-back Konstantinos Stafylidis on Sunday after the Greece international served a one-match ban last weekend. Striker Alfred Finnbogason is making good progress in his recovery from injury, but it is still too soon for him to feature, while fellow attacker Caiuby likewise remains sidelined.

Bremen goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny has two more games of his suspension to complete, while defender Santiago Garcia is also banned after collecting a fifth yellow card of the season last time out. Claudio Pizarro was substituted off against FC Bayern München on Matchday 18 but has recovered enough to be included in the squad, but Florian Grillitsch and Izet Hajrovic are still out of action.
