Borussia Dortmund were relieved to get the win after being pushed all the way by fearless FC Ingostadt 04 at the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Matchday 19.

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 FC Ingolstadt 04

Goals: 1-0 Aubameyang (77'), 2-0 Aubameyang (85')

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Dortmund striker): "It was an important win today - for us as a team and for the fans."

Gonzalo Castro (Dortmund midfielder): "Ingolstadt defend really, really well. They hardly left any gaps and were on our backs for the entire game. That's difficult for a team like ours that wants to play football. In the end, we won 2-0. We dust ourselves down and go again."

Christian Pulisic (Dortmund midfielder): "I've worked really hard for this day. It was just fantastic: to make my debut in front of these fans, it was a special moment. Obviously I was a bit nervous, but that all disappeared once I had the ball at my feet for the first time. Then I was only thinking about the game. The coach just said to enjoy it. The goals from Aubameyang were fantastic and the fans were sensational."

Thomas Tuchel (Dortmund head coach): "We got lucky at times, but on days like today you're always happy to grind out the win."

Marvin Matip (Ingolstadt captain): "The team gave everything today and really took the fight to them - enough to take something from the game. That's why we're disappointed. We matched them all the way, but I think we once again showed that we can cause the league's second best team problems."

Ralph Hasenhüttl (Ingolstadt head coach): "We played very well today, but congratulations to Dortmund on the win."
