90+3' FULL-TIME: Hamburg 1-2 FC Bayern

The final whistle sounds in Hamburg...Bayern, without finding top gear, take all three points and move 11 points clear of their nearest challenges, Borussia Dortmund, who go to Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday. Pep Guardiola will hope the injury to Boateng is not too serious...

90+2' It seems the Hamburg goal has in fact been given as a Xabi Alonso own-goal....

90+1' Perhaps a chance here...HSV with a free-kick, centrally placed..25 metres from goal...GREGORITSCHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Just wide....that was hit with real pace, and skidded off the turf, but Neuer had it watched all the way.

90' Three minutes to be added on...

89' Guardiola waves his side upfield as Neuer prepares to clear his lines...not long for Bayern to hang on now.

87' The Hamburg fans aren't happy Mr Zwayer stops the game with Coman down...there's no doubt he was caught by a hefty Holtby challenge though.

86' Lewandowski playing for time near the corner flag, holding off Djourou and Diekmeier...Bayern now content to just see this one through.

84' Painful for Holtby, who is winded by the challenge from Vidal...

BOOKED: Alonso (Bayern)

81' The World Cup winner collides with Rudnevs right on the edge of the Bayern box...a yellow card for the Bayern man, a dangerous free-kick for HSV...but Gregoritsch drives it into the wall...a bit of a waste from the HSV youngster.

79' BRILLIANT STOP!! Vidal pulls the ball back to Thiago on the edge of the box...his shot is deflected by Cleber, but Adler is in the right place at the right time to block and keep Hamburg in it.

78' Having said that, Rudnevs breaks past Alaba promisingly on the right, but his ball towards the edge of the box is cut out by the hard-working Coman...great tracking back from the Frenchman.

77' Rudnevs is on for HSV to try and give them more presence in front of the Bayern goal... but the home side are struggling for ideas of how to break down the visitors.

75' CHANCE FOR COSTA!! And he doesn't take it!! It was a great burst of pace down the right from Coman, and his ball across goal found Costa unmarked at the back post, but the Brazilian screwed his volley back to where the pass had come from...a left-off for HSV.

74' HSV's goal was the 50th Bayern have conceded in 86 Bundesliga games under Guardiola.

72' Bayern seem to have drawn Hamburg's sting...even the home crowd seem to have lost some of their enthusiasm.

65' Bayern free-kick...Alaba and Alonso there...maybe a chance to shoot...OFF THE POST!! Alaba did go for goal, and found the left-hand upright of Adler's goal...so unlucky for the Austria international...it was beautifully struck.

63' Lewandowski with 17 goals for the season now...just one behind his former Borussia Dortmund team-mate and currently the Bundesliga's leading scorer, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

BAYERN IN FRONT!!! HSV 1-2 FC BAYERN (Lewandowski 61')

61' Thiago with a corner for Bayern....aimed towards Badstuber...Martinez is in there making a nuisance of himself...it's cleared, but comes back towards the Hamburg goal...MÜLLER SHOOTS ON THE EDGE OF THE BOX...AND THE DEFLECTION BY LEWANDOWSKI LEAVES ADLER COMPLETELY WRONG-FOOTED!! Bayern back in front.

59' Hunt's corner was not a good one and Costa races clear...HE HAS COMAN FREE IN THE MIDDLE...but the pass to the former Paris Saint-Germain forward is behind him, and the chance disappears....Hamburg must be relieved, they were caught out there.

57' Bayern appear a little rattled...they have not been their usual fluid selves up till now...and here's Diekmeier down the right...wins a corner as the HSV fans find their voices.

54' Hamburg with the bit between their teeth now...Lasogga...SHOT BLOCKED...and Boateng goes down under a challenge...and signals to the bench he'll need to be replaced...Javi Martinez races on to take his place as the Germany international limps away...not good news at all for Bayern.

49' Another effort on target from Bayern...not enough power in that one from Lewandowski to seriously trouble Adler though.

48' DIPPING HALF-VOLLEY FROM COSTA!! Dips over Adler's bar...Costa brought down Alonso's long angled ball beautifully...and caught his shot well.

SECOND HALF

46' Bayern start brightly...that was a good full-length stop from Adler to keep out Coman's low drive...it was at the cost of a corner, but it could have been worse for Hamburg.

The BunDucksLiga final....who'll have a quack at Hertha Berlin's title?

HALF TIME: Hamburg 0-1 Bayern (Lewandowski 38')

45' Mr Zwayer brings the first-half to a close with Bayern ahead...but the league leaders have had to work hard for their one-goal lead. Stay with us for the second half.

BOOKED: Lahm (Bayern)

44' The Bayern captain goes into the book for a full-blooded challenge....

CHANCE FOR MÜLLER

42' Müller gets to the near post and holds off Diekmeier to flick on the free-kick coming in from the left....OOOOOOOHH!! And is left holding his head as the ball flies just beyond the far post...Adler would never have been able to get there had it been sneaking inside.

BOOKED: Müller (HSV)

41' Coman knocks the ball past the Hamburg midfielder, who then balks the run of the Bayern winger...that's a hat-trick of yellows for HSV this half.

40' Let's see how that changes things...there certainly appears to be a greater zip to Bayern's play now as they ping the ball around.

HSV 0-1 FC BAYERN

38' It will be - surprise, surprise...not - Lewandowski with the spot-kick....he steps up...and...SENDS ADLER THE WRONG WAY! A crisp strike from the Poland international...Bayern in front.

PENALTY FOR BAYERN!

36' Long ball over the top looking for Müller...AND IT IS GOING TO FIND HIM...he gets there ahead of the HSV 'keeper...lobs it over him as he is scythed down by Adler...the ball drops wide...but referee Felix Zwayer points to the spot.

34' Coman seems to be OK again as he uses his prodigious pace to tear clear down the left, but his cross is straight into the hands of Rene Adler.

BOOKED: Kacar (HSV)

32' The Serbia international is shown a yellow card for a foul on Coman that has left the teenage France international struggling...Arjen Robben starts warming up...the free-kick resulting from the foul is easily cleared by the HSV defence.

30' That looked like a good ball from Costa into the right-hand side of the box for Lahm, but even Germany's FIFA World Cup-winning captain couldn't hook the ball into the danger area with a desperate lunge, and it's behind for a goal-kick.

27' Space now for Costa...but he comes inside...and Bayern lose momentum and the ball...Hamburg's organisation is really frustrating them for now. And Guardiola is in his technical area pondering solutions.

25' Danger here as Lewis Holtby's foul gives Alonso the chance to arrow a free-kick into the box...IN IT COMES...off a Hamburg head and behind for a corner...which is cleared easily enough by the home defence.

23' Hamburg are giving a really good account of themselves so far...they're clearly determined there will be no repeat of the 5-0 mauling they took on Matchday 1.

JUST WIDE!!

21' Diekmeier races onto Müller's ball into space down the right and sends a shot that flashes just wide of the far post...a shot across the bows of Bayern.

BOOKED: OSTRZOLEK (HSV)

19' The HSV left-back has his name taken after a foul on Costa.

STAT: Both Hamburg and Bayern conceded just five goals before the half-time interval of their 17 games before the winter break - no wonder things are tight! (courtesy OPTA Franz)

17' Powerful run down the left by Lewandowski...he crashes to the turf just outside the box, but he lost his footing in the tussle with Diekmeier, even if the travelling Bayern fans were getting excited!

16' Costa again thwarted in his designs down the Bayern right...the Brazilian has yet to find a solution to Hamburg's tight marking of him.

15' Promising free-kick for Bayern...wide left...drilled in with real pace, but Lasogga well placed to head clear. The industrious striker showing his worth at the back too.

13' Lovely touch from Lasogga to Müller...the ball finds its way to Hunt who forces the first save of the game from Neuer...it was low and from distance, and not enough power or direction to seriously trouble the Bayern 'keeper.

11' It's evenly-balanced for the moment - Hamburg are well-drilled, making life difficult for Bayern.

9' Diekmeier charges down the right flank for Hamburg, but his cross is cleared easily by Alonso. HSV will need better delivery to take advantage of Lasogga's aerial prowess.

8' Xabi Alonso's first attempt is met by Thiago Alcantara, whose header is deflected behind...Alonso's second corner is deeper, but though Müller brings it down on the edge of the six-yard box, no Bayern player can take advantage and Djourou clears.

6' Solid work at the opposite end from Cleber, shepherding the ball out of play and - quite literally - holding Thomas Müller at arm's length.

4' Little ball slid through by Nicolai Müller for Lasogga forces Bayern to clear behind for a corner...Cleber gets his head to it, but the whistle sounds for a foul.

3' A first run for Douglas Costa down the Bayern right...solid defending from Matthias Ostrzolek to block the Brazilian's cross.

2' Bayern dominating possession early on...difficult for Hamburg to get a touch.

KICK-OFF

1' We're underway at the Volksparkstadion...it's a really chilly evening in northern Germany.

20:31 The two teams are out on the pitch...Hamburg in very natty red tracksuit tops...they'll be in their traditional white shirts, red shorts and blue socks for this one, Bayern in their away kit of dark blue...
