#BLMVP Matchday 18 candidate: Yuya Osako
1. FC Köln attacker Yuya Osako enjoyed what was arguably his best game for the Billy Goats, having a hand in three goals as his team swept aside SV Darmstadt 98 in a 6-1 victory on Saturday.
The Japan international was a thorn in the side of the home defence throughout, forcing Aytac Sulu into an own-goal for the opener, before doubling his team's advantage with an excellent header. He smashed in Köln's fourth goal in the second half to nip any Darmstadt hopes of a comeback in the bud. The away side went on to score two more en route to recording their biggest Bundesliga win for almost 30 years.
