Both RB Leipzig and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim remain unbeaten after 13 rounds of matches. Only 13 teams in Bundesliga history have ever made it this far into a season without losing, but never two at the same time.


Robert Lewandowski scored a brace away to 1. FSV Mainz 05 for a fourth successive game. No player had previously ever achieved such a feat against any club in the Bundesliga.

Five players netted their first Bundesliga goals on Matchday 13: Janik Haberer, Borja Mayoral, Paul Seguin, Markus Suttner and Matthias Ostrzolek.


FC Augsburg are now an on eight-game unbeaten streak against Eintracht Frankfurt (three wins, five draws). They have never managed such an impressive run against any other side in the Bundesliga.


Max Kruse's goal for SV Werder Bremen made him the Green-Whites' 12th scorer this season. At no other Bundesliga club have as many players found the net in 2016/17.


Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the first player to score at least two goals in four matches this season. His haul of 15 is exactly the same as at the same stage last term.

Bremen's starting line-up against Ingolstadt had an average age of 29.4 years, their oldest first XI since December 1998. Furthermore, in Claudio Pizarro (38) and Jaroslav Drobny (37), they have the two oldest players in the Bundesliga this season.


At least 30 goals were scored on a single matchday for the fourth time this season.


RB Leipzig have chalked up 33 points so far. Of the 11 teams to have previously reached at least that tally by this stage of a season (adjusting for teams prior to the introduction of the three-point rule), nine ended up as champions.


Hamburg's Matthias Ostrzolek scored his first ever Bundesliga goal in his 133rd league outing and with his 71st shot.

VfL Wolfsburg goalkeeper Diego Benaglio made his 250th Bundesliga apearance in the Wolves' clash with Hertha Berlin.
