Yann Sommer (Borussia Mönchengladbach, 11pts)

A steady, calming influence at the back while Gladbach fought for a first win in eight games, Sommer thwarted 1. FSV Mainz 05’s attacks when he needed to and earned five extra points for keeping a clean sheet, his first since a goalless draw with Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 9.

Tony Jantschke (Borussia Mönchengladbach, 14)

Another key component in Gladbach’s gritty win, Jantschke impressed by leading the Foals’ count of challenges won with 16 and had the most touches – 86 – of anyone on the pitch at BORUSSIA-PARK on Sunday.

Benjamin Hübner (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, 14)

Hoffenheim’s draw with Eintracht Frankfurt was an entertaining affair but the defences held sway, and Hübner was integral to this. He won 18 challenges and had 77 touches in all, showing why he has become an ever-present in Julian Nagelsmann’s backline since making his debut against old side FC Ingolstadt 04 on Matchday 6.

Andreas Christensen (Borussia Mönchengladbach, 19)

Gladbach’s Danish defender had an outstanding day against Mainz, excelling in his primary role but also pouncing for what turned out to be the only goal in the Foals’ 1-0 win. His 19 points made him comfortably the most successful Official Fantasy Bundesliga player of Matchday 14.

Matthias Ostrzolek (Hamburger SV, 15)

Ostrzolek led the way against FC Augsburg in helping Hamburg record a second win in a row to move out of the Bundesliga’s bottom two. The 26-year-old won a match-best 15 challenges and had 56 touches, and at just 8.35M he would represent real value as an addition to your Official Fantasy Bundesliga squad.

Arjen Robben (FC Bayern München, 13)

The week’s leading Official Fantasy Bundesliga midfielder, Robben scored for the fifth time in nine outings with a brilliant goal against VfL Wolfsburg, curling the ball in from the edge of the area to kick-start Bayern’s 5-0 rout.

Roger (FC Ingolstadt, (10)

The Brazilian’s deft header that proved to be the winner against RB Leipzig was only part of the story for the 31-year-old. He completed 12 passes, the second-highest total for Ingolstadt, and proved that at 10M he could be a valuable member of an Official Fantasy Bundesliga midfield without breaking the bank.

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund, 10)

If Official Fantasy Bundesliga managers were not sure about picking Reus on his return from injury despite his place in the Matchday 13 Team of the Week, perhaps his inclusion this week will persuade them? He grabbed the last-gasp equaliser against 1. FC Köln, had three shots on goal and his 33 sprints was the game’s best total.

Thomas Müller (FC Bayern München, 12)

Müller finally ended his 999-minute goal scoring drought in Bayern’s 5-0 win over Wolfsburg, His contribution should not just be measured in goals, however, and he recorded his fifth assist of the campaign when setting up Robert Lewandowski.

Stefan Kießling (Bayer 04 Leverkusen, 15)

Kießling’s first goal of the season gave Leverkusen a dramatic last-minute win over FC Schalke, but the 32-year-old put himself about so much that the 17 challenges he won earned him six of his excellent total of 15 Official Fantasy Bundesliga points, making him this week’s leading forward.

Robert Lewandowski (FC Bayern München, 13)

Bayern’s Polish star striker bagged goals 10 and 11 for the season, but added to his Official Fantasy Bundesliga points tally for Matchday 14 with five shots on goal. His season points average is 10, level only with Anthony Modeste.
