1. FC Köln defender Megrim Mavraj has been suffering with a cold, but has been able to train individually and should be fit in time for the visit of FC Augsburg. Club captain Matthias Lehmann misses out, however, after sustaining an ankle injury in the first-half of the 2-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach. Simon Zoller is set to come in.

As for Augsburg, Dong-Won Ji is available again after missing the goalless draw at home to Hertha Berlin with a minor knock. Austrian defender Martin Hinteregger is expected to play with a mask protecting his broken nose, but Alfred Finnbogasson, Raul Bobadilla and Ja-Cheol Koo remain on the sidelines.
