Three key players could make their return for SV Werder Bremen, with Claudio Pizarro, Max Kruse and Philipp Bargfrede all back full training. Kruse, who picked up an injury soon after joining Bremen in the summer, scored twice in a recent friendly and could make his Bundesliga debut for the club.

Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Niko Kovac may turn to Branimir Hrgota to lead his attack, giving Alexander Meier a break as he struggles with his form. Defender Taleb Tawatha will not play again in 2016, however, after tearing knee ligaments while on international duty with Israel.
