Frustration was the overriding feeling in the FC Bayern München camp following their 0-0 draw away to Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday evening - the first time the Bundesliga leaders have dropped points this season.
bundesliga.com rounds up the post-match reaction from the Commerzbank Arena...
FRANKFURT 0-0 BAYERN
Arturo Vidal (Bayern midfielder): “It was a really tough game and it’s almost impossible to score in a match like that as they had all their players around the box. We worked well as a team and need to keep working hard now. We’re not tired after so many games recently; we’re in good shape physically."
Pep Guardiola (Bayern coach): "Frankfurt defended very well and didn't leave us much space. But we had enough chances to win the game. We did everything we could to win, but it just wasn't to be today."
Philipp Lahm (Bayern defender): “We always aim to win our away games. It’s not easy to create opportunities in a match like that. We still managed to carve out some big chances but we just couldn’t take them. We can’t change how the opposition are going to play but it seems that teams are becoming ever more defensive.”
Manuel Neuer (Bayern goalkeeper): "Obviously we went out to win, but it was pretty tough this evening. We didn't create many chances, which is particularly frustrating when you work so hard. We kept trying but Frankfurt defended shrewdly."
Armin Veh (Frankfurt coach): "We played with a lot of passion and discipline today. I'm happy we picked up a point."
Haris Seferovic (Frankfurt forward): “It was really hard work and we’re glad to have taken a point.”
Stefan Aigner (Frankfurt midfielder): "We tried to give them as little space as possible. Of course they're going to create chances with the individual quality they have, but we made it hard for them. I think we played well, but we only took a point."
