Thiago was ruled out not long before kick-off on Tuesday night at PSV Eindhoven so his participation in this fixture is still up in the air and Joshua Kimmich should replace him in the side that won 3-1 at Augsburg on Matchday 9. There is a good possibility that Carlo Ancelotti will once again rotate up front and allow Arjen Robben a rest. Douglas Costa is expected to come in for him as the only change from the side that won in Eindhoven.

Julian Nagelsmann is expected to continue with the same formation that has brought his side so much success this campaign. He may choose to go with the same starting line-up that beat Hertha Berlin 1-0 last Sunday but it is possible he will deploy the more defensive Jeremy Toljan in place of Steven Zuber for this clash in Munich.
