Bayer 04 Leverkusen striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez and Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Marco Fabian have been called up to the Mexico squad to face the USA and Panama later this month.
The duo have been rewarded for their strong form in the Bundesliga, particularly Fabian, whose goals and assists have propelled the Eagles to seventh in the table heading into the Matchday 10 clash with 1. FC Köln.

Midfielder Fabian has scored three goals and provided four assists in his last seven league appearances and will have the chance to add to his 29 caps for Mexico when El Tri take on Jürgen Klinsmann's USMNT in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying in Columbus, Ohio on November 11. The call-up is a notable reward for the 27-year-old, who was overlooked for this summer’s Copa America Centenario and 2016 Rio Olympics.
Chicharito, meanwhile, takes his usual place in the squad after another successful start to the season for Leverkusen. He has scored five goals in eight league games and helped Bayer take a step closer to qualification for the UEFA Champions League knockout rounds with victory at Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.

Chicharito has 45 goals in 86 appearances for his country, and one more strike against the US would see him draw level with Jared Borgetti as the country's all-time top goalscorer.
