Bayern Munich have been dealt a blow ahead of Saturday night’s Der Klassiker clash with Borussia Dortmund, with Joshua Kimmich ruled out through illness.
Kimmich, who has not missed a single match this season, is suffering with a stomach bug, and hasn't travelled to Dortmund, the club confirmed on Friday afternoon.
The defender has already chipped in with three assists and scored once in the Bundesliga this season as Bayern head to Dortmund sitting pretty at the top of the Bundesliga.
Germany’s record champions are also without Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller, Juan Bernat and Franck Ribery for the visit to the Signal Iduna Park.
