Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign Sweden youth international Alex Timossi Andersson from Helsingborgs IF.
The 16-year-old attacking midfielder, who has scored twice in 16 appearances in Sweden’s second tier this season, will join the German record champions on 1 July 2019.
“Alex Timossi Andersson is a highly talented player,” Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic told fcbayern.de. “We’re convinced that he will be a success at Bayern. Before joining us he will remain at Helsinborgs, where he will continue to gain experience and develop in familiar surroundings.”
Part of Helsinborgs’ first team since January, Andersson has scored six goals in four appearances for Sweden’s Under-15 side, while netting twice in seven outings for the Under-16s.
