Key stats 

Since coming off the Frankfurt bench to score a debut goal in a Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen in November 2016, Barkok has made a further 26 top-flight appearances. He produced a goal and assist on his fifth Bundesliga outing - another cameo from the bench - and was provider once more against Borussia Mönchengladbach late in 2016/17 and in January 2018. The 5'9" midfielder played 45 minutes of Frankfurt's DFB Cup-winning campaign, but was not in the squad for the final against Bayern Munich. He joins Düsseldorf having made 11 senior starts in all club competitions.
