The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has set in stone the schedule through until Matchday 29 in both the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2.

The release of the fixture list was dependant on results in the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 and the subsequent draw for the Round of 16 ties involving the remaining Bundesliga representatives Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund.

The schedule for the remainder of the season will be announced in the week starting on 21 March 2016 and will take into consideration the performances of the German sides in their respective European competitions. The Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 schedules through until Matchday 34 will be released in conjunction with one another.

The DFL has also announced that there will be no fixtures in either of Germany’s top two tiers scheduled on Sunday 1 May. As always, all Matchday 33 and 34 encounters will be played on the same day at 15:30CET. The fixtures will take place on 7 and 14 May in the Bundesliga and 8 and 15 May in the Bundesliga 2.
