Veh returns as Frankfurt head coach
Frankfurt - Eintracht Frankfurt have appointed Armin Veh as their new head coach on a two-year contract following Thomas Schaaf's decision to resign from the role at the end of last month.
Familiar face
Schaaf led the Eagles to a respectable ninth-placed finish in 2014/15, helped in large part by the form of striker Alex Meier, who won the Torjägerkanone as the Bundesliga's top scorer
Frankfurt had been searching for a successor to Schaaf ever since and opted for a familiar face in Veh, who was head coach at the club from July 2011 and June 2014 before resigning. The 54-year-old subsequently took charge at Bundesliga rivals VfB Stuttgart, but left the Swabians on 24 November 2014, with the side bottom of the league after Matchday 12.
