Striker Uth joins Hoffenheim
Sinsheim - TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have signed German striker Mark-Alexander Uth from Dutch side SC Heerenveen.
'One of the best leagues in the world'
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the south-western outfit, who finished eighth in the Bundesliga last season.
"With his style of play and his outstanding goal record last season, Mark Uth attracted a lot of interest," said Hoffenheim's sporting director Alexander Rosen. "His development is far from over, even though he has made huge steps recently and will prove to be an exciting and dangerous striker for us."
"I'm looking forward to the challenge of the Bundesliga," added Uth. "I'm really motivated to prove myself in one of the best leagues in the world and Hoffenheim's attacking style of play will really suit me."
The Cologne native, a former Germany U-20 international, scored 15 goals in 32 games in the Dutch First Division last season, as well as recording seven assists.
