Allow bundesliga.com to keep you informed of all the latest training ground developments...

While his Bayern team-mates are working hard back at the training ground...

...Mario Götze is rubbing shoulders with musicians such as Will.I.Am and Selena Gomez.

Back at Bayern...

...and smiling. Julian Green is reunited with David Alaba as Bayern's pre-season continues apace.

There are worse views

A lovely blue sky for Augsburg's friendly against TSV Zumarshausen. "First friendly tonight, against TSV Zumarshausen! Great weather, great conditions!" reads the club's tweet below:

Fancy meeting Schalke's finest?

If you're in Gelsenkirchen tomorrow, you can do just that: the Royal-Blues' stars will be signing autographs from 10AM CEST.

The Bremen bikers

No rest for the Bremen boys, who are cycling to their evening training session.

Dream duo

1. FC Köln line up for their friendly against an Avita Resort XI with new signing Anthony Modeste up front.

"Everything's ready for the first friendly of the season!"

Werder getting settled

Bremen arrived in Neuruppin, Brandenburg a short time ago. There the Green-Whites will have a five-day training camp, as well as a friendly against MSV Neuruppen on 4 July.

Up and running

14 members of the FC Schalke 04 first-team squad took part in training on Thursday, including Julian Draxler and new signing Junior Caicara, who has been described as a "machine" by new head coach Andre Breitenreiter.

Back in town

2014/15 DFB Cup winners VfL Wolfsburg commenced pre-season training this afternoon. Naldo, Diego Benaglio et al. certainly seem to be enjoying themselves in the July sunshine.

Mainz taking it easy

The self-proclaimed Carnival Club will be resting their laurels for the rest of the day, head coach Martin Schmidt granting his players an afternoon off.

Thiago upbeat

Bayern midfield maestro Thiago Alcantara sent out this tweet on day two of the defending Bundesliga champions’ 2015/16 season preparations:

Breitenreiter: 'Höwedes to remain captain'

New Schalke boss Andre Breitenreiter was full of praise for the club’s summer signings Junior Caicara and Johannes Geis in the wake of his first training session at the Royal Blues, while confirming that Word Cup winner Benedikt Höwedes will remain captain:

Douglas Costa "a fighter"

Before his press conference came to an end, Guardiola was asked about new signing Douglas Costa, and the Spaniard is evidently delighted to have him on board:

Crossbar challenge

Could you do better from the edge of the box than the FC Köln players?

Pep glad to be back

Before Bayern take to the training pitch this afternoon, there’s the small matter of Pep Guardiola’s first media conference of the new season. Judging by that smile, he’s in the mood to get down to some hard work in the sunshine.

Royal Blue welcome

Here’s Breitenreiter and the Schalke squad heading out onto the training ground flanked by scores of well-wishing fans. The mood is optimistic at present, but the new head coach will know he has a job on his hands to improve upon the club's below-par 2014/15 campaign.

Green-Whites breaking a sweat

After returning to training on Wednesday, Bremen had an another early start in the north German sunshine this morning:

Pushing for the burn

Here's a snap of 1. FC Köln in training ahead of tonight's friendly against a local Avita Resort XI. The Billy Goats are in Austria on a pre-season training camp until Friday.

Bayern gearing up

Over in Bavaria, it's an equally beautiful day. New FC Bayern signing Douglas Costa will not be training with his new club until July 11 on account of his Copa America exploits with Brazil recently, but the vast majority of the first-team squad will be out in the sun today.

Andre's first day

New Schalke 04 coach Andre Breitenreiter will take charge of Royal Blues training for the first time this morning, and he couldn't have picked a better day to do so:
