League President Dr. Reinhard Rauball: "FC Bayern München have set the benchmark for the Bundesliga this season. There can be no doubt that a team which loses just two games out of 30 thoroughly deserves to be German champions. A successful title defence is always something special. For the fourth time in the club's history they have achieved a title hat-trick. The Bundesliga congratulates those in charge at FC Bayern, as well as Pep Guardiola and his team for their impressive consistency - and not only this season."

Christian Seifert, DFL CEO: "Congratulations! The title is thoroughly deserved. FC Bayern are without doubt a fantastic advert for the Bundesliga. I wish Pep Guardiola and his team all the best for their Champions League semi-final against FC Barcelona. The Champions League final in Berlin on 6 June would be a great platform to showcase German football to the world."
