Cologne - FC Bayern München star Robert Lewandowski's stunning brace in the champions' 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt was enough to earn him your vote as Matchday 28's Player of the Week.

The Polish international continued his purple patch in front of goal by netting a brilliant volleyed opener against Thomas Schaaf's stubborn outfit with just 15 minutes on the clock, before doubling his, and his side's total in the 66th minute with a close-range header.

Back-to-back wins

His performance was such that 68 per cent of bundesliga.com users voted for the 26-year-old, ensuring he scooped the prize for the second consecutive week and the fourth time this season.

After Patrick Herrmann's impressive display helped Borussia Mönchengladbach to a 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund, the winger came second in the users' poll, garnering 20 per cent of votes. And last on the podium, but by no means least, was VfB Stuttgart's Daniel Ginczek with 12 per cent of votes, after his dramatic brace against SV Werder Bremen ensured the Swabians moved off the bottom of the Bundesliga standings for the first time since Matchday 19.
