Braunschweig - Eintracht Braunschweig kept their promotion hopes alive thanks to a 2-0 victory over TSV 1860 Munich on Matchday 28.
Hendrick Zuck gave last season’s top-flight demotees a dream start at the Eintracht-Stadion with a tap-in from a pinpoint Jan Hochscheidt assist, and Ken Reichel should have doubled the hosts’ lead minutes later.
Rodri could have pulled 1860 level shortly before half time, but Braunschweig captain Hochscheidt showed the Spaniard how it was done, tapping home from Havard Nielsen’s pass to seal the three points for a dominant Eintracht.
