Cologne - bundesliga.com users have voted FC Bayern München striker Robert Lewandowski as their Player of the Week for Matchday 25.

Last season's Torjägerkanone winner scored twice in the league leaders' 4-0 win over in-form SV Werder Bremen on Saturday afternoon, lifting his personal tally for the current league campaign to 13.

Overwhelming winner

Lewandowski received 52 per cent of bundesliga.com users' votes in the latest post-matchday ballot. His closest challenger, with 39 per cent, was VfL Wolfsburg maestro Kevin De Bruyne, who scored one and assisted the other two in the Wolves' 3-0 victory over SC Freiburg on Sunday. The Belgian has been directly involved in 25 league goals this season - more than any other player in Germany's top flight.

Borussia Mönchengladbach winger Patrick Herrmann received nine per cent of the poll after netting both goals in the Foals' 2-0 success against Hannover 96. Herrmann has now scored eight league goals this term - a new personal best for the 24-year-old.
