Bremen - Blink and you might well have missed not just one but two of the eight goals scored at the Weser-Stadion on Sunday, as SV Werder Bremen and VfL Wolfsburg delivered one of the most entertaining encounters of the season so far.

VfL Wolfsburg

Once the players got the chance to catch a breath and gather their thoughts, they has plenty to say on the Wolves' enthralling

5-3 success

, as

finds out...

Bas Dost:

"Things just keep going, and they're going well. Every week I'm here saying that [the goals] will stop again, but I just keep going and then we'll see where I am in the end. We've shown all season long that we can win games even when we concede first. We always believed we could turn this one around."

Timm Klose:

"We didn't start the game well and the communication wasn't quite there, especially on the left side of defence, as Marcel [Schäfer] and I hadn't started a game for a long time. But the four players that were thrown into the starting line-up all did their jobs well."

SV Werder Bremen

Felix Kroos:

"We had chances to get something, but then we got caught napping. Not every side is as ruthless as Wolfsburg are. When you play a game like this, the only times you are going to lose are when you are up against Wolfsburg or Bayern."

Zlatko Junuzovic:

"It was a fantastic team performance from us right from the very first minute, but in just ten minutes, we've thrown it all away."

Sebastian Prödl:

"It was a great game from us today against very strong opponents. We gave it all we've got in the first half and wanted to take advantage of the fact Wolfsburg had played in midweek. We should have made more of the advantage we gained with the goals. In the end, Wolfsburg's individual class made the difference. We're disappointed, but we're not deflated."

Clemens Fritz:

"This defeat's not going to knock us down because we're pretty stable nowadays. We've defended really well in recent weeks and I hope that these five goals were just a blip."
