Cologne - After some notable appointments for Germany's clubs in Europe this week, Bundesliga radio brought you another three intoxicating games from the league of the world champions on Matchday 23.

The airwaves action began in Bavaria on Friday evening, when FC Bayern München opened up an 11-point lead at the top of the table with a
4-1 win over 1. FC Köln at the Allianz Arena.

On Saturday, there was the small matter of the 86th Revierderby in the Bundesliga era, as Borussia Dortmund defeated local rivals FC Schalke 04 3-0 at the Signal Iduna Park, before VfL Wolfsburg and SV Werder Bremen played out a veritable humdinger, decided 5-3 in the Wolves' favour.
