Dortmund - Borussia Dortmund have suffered a major blow with the news that defender Lukasz Piszczek will be out of action for six weeks after injuring ankle ligaments in Tuesday's 2-1 UEFA Champions League defeat to Juventus.

Out of second leg

The 29-year-old Poland international was withdrawn from the action in Turin after a collision with opposing midfielder Paul Pogba and complained after the last-16 first leg that "every step hurts".

It has now been confirmed that the former Hertha Berlin right-back will miss the return leg against the Italians in three weeks' time, as well as a large chunk of league action, including this weekend's

against local rivals FC Schalke 04 and the visit of champions FC Bayern München on Matchday 27. Marco Reus'
