Cologne - The Bundesliga's midweek fixtures once again threw up anomalies and milestones aplenty, and also saw a new Bundesliga record set to boot.

As ever, bundesliga.com is on hand to bring you the most pertinent facts and figures from the latest round of top-flight action...

15 - Only 15 goals were scored on Matchday 19 - the least of any single Matchday in the current campaign.

5 - Home sides struck just five times during midweek, another season-low in 2014/15.

1 - Borussia Mönchengladbach were the only team to triumph on their own patch. Only on Matchday 2 did so few home teams ended up on the winning side.

17 - The last 17 encounters between VfB Stuttgart and 1. FC Köln have failed to produce a home win, the longest streak of its kind in Bundesliga history.

12 - Freiburg have failed to pick up three points in their last 12 trips to Mönchengladbach, where they have also gone almost 20 years without victory.

10 - FC Bayern München dropped points for the first time on home soil this season in their 10th outing at the Allianz Arena.

4 - For the first time this season and the first time under head coach Roberto Di Matteo, FC Schalke 04 have gone four games without defeat.

9 - SC Paderborn 07 are in the midst of a nine-game losing streak. No Bundesliga side has currently gone as long without a win.

7 - VfL Wolfsburg boast the league’s longest current unbeaten streak after going a seventh game without losing in the 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

15 - Jerome Boateng was sent off in the 17th minute against Schalke. The last Bayern player to be sent of that early in a game was Samuel Kuffour in April 2000 against SC Freiburg, a whopping 15 years ago.

500 - Borussia Dortmund suffered their 500th Bundesliga defeat at home to FC Augsburg.

8 - FC Augsburg beat Dortmund for the first time on Wednesday in the eighth Bundesliga meeting between the two.

10 - 1. FSV Mainz 05 shared the spoils for the 10th time this season in the 1-1 draw with Hannover 96, a league high and double the amount of draws they played out in the whole of last season.

2007 - SV Werder Bremen won the first two games of a new calendar year for the first time since 2007.

13 - After beating Paderborn on Matchday 19, 13th-placed Hamburger SV boast a better position in the table than the newly-promoted side for the first time this season.

3 - Historically speaking only six Chilean players have ever featured in the Bundesliga, and three of them were out on the pitch in Hanover: Miiko Albornoz, Gonzalo Jara and Mainz debutant Nicolas Castillo. The other two were Arturo Vidal and Junior Fernandes, who represented Leverkusen between 2007 and 2011 and 2012 and 2013 respectively.
