Augsburg - There were no complaints in the FC Augsburg camp following Sunday's 3-1 win at home to a TSG 1899 Hoffenheim side already plotting their riposte.

bundesliga.com rounds up the best of the post-match reaction from the SGL Arena...

Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg: "I'm happy with my performance today, but it's not about me; it's about the whole team. We want to have a good second half of the season and we've made a good start, but we’ve got another job to do on Tuesday [against Borussia Dortmund]."

Halil Altintop: "Pierre [Höjbjerg] showed us exactly what he's capable of during the winter break and I’m very pleased he was able to produce the goods today. It was a great cross for the opening goal."

Kevin Volland: "The first two goals were unnecessary and annoying, but we still had chances in the last 15 minutes to take a draw. There were plenty of opportunities, but we didn't play the right pass. We were too rushed. We have to take a look at the game and quickly put it behind us. On Wednesday against Bremen we want three points. That's the best response."

Pirmin Schwegler: "We had chances to level late on. For that reason, we ought to be happy with the game. We tried everything. Before half-time we tried to find a way back. Maybe that was the wrong way to go about it in these [wintry] conditions. We needed to be more calm. We didn't want to start this way, but we've got a chance to put things right on Wednesday."
