Udo Lattek: A legendary head coach
Cologne - The word 'legend' is often overused in football, but considering Udo Lattek's record-breaking feats in the Bundesliga, there is no label more befitting the former top-flight head coach, who passed away at the age of 80 on 4 February 2015.
Known for his infamous blue pullover and trophy-laden spells on the sidelines with FC Bayern München and Borussia Mönchengladbach, which produced a combined total of eight Bundesliga titles, Lattek set an almost impossibly high standard for others to follow.
