Belek - Borussia Mönchengladbach's preparations for the 2014/15 Rückrunde didn't exactly get off to the flying start they'd hoped for on day one of their winter training camp in Belek, Turkey.
The Foals hadn't long touched down on The Turkish Riviera when Germany international striker Max Kruse pulled up lame with an ankle injury early into Thursday evening's maiden training session at the Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort. It is not yet known how long he will be out for.
The 26-year-old has been key to Gladbach's top-four busting efforts so far this term, netting seven goals and chipping in with four assists in 15 league outings.
Lucien Favre's side return to Mönchengladbach on 15 January, before getting their domestic campaign back under way at VfB Stuttgart at the end of the month.
