Cologne - Borussia Dortmund return to familiar Spanish climes in a bid to remedy their ailing Bundesliga form later this week.

The bee's knees

Die Schwarz-Gelben will touch down along the 'Sandbag of the Minor Sea' for the fourth year running on Saturday 10 January, before returning home to the Ruhr district heartland eight days later.

The plan is for Jürgen Klopp's side to make use of the eight football pitches on offer at the luxurious La Manga Club Resort. There's also a small, 800-seater terrace on site, giving locals the chance to catch a glimpse of some of the Bundesliga's top stars in action.

Five-star luxury

The Dortmund players will be staying on site at the five-star Hotel Principe Felipe. The king-sized resort is three times the size of Monaco, with amenities of the very highest order, including golf courses, spas, restaurants, swimming pools and cafes. The training facilities are within a five-minute drive of the accommodation; or around one kilometre on foot.
