DFL confirms schedule for Matchdays 22 to 28

Frankfurt - The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH has confirmed the dates and kick-off times for Matchdays 22 to 28 in the Bundesliga and in Bundesliga 2.

With no sporting events permitted on Good Friday in Germany, there will be an extra Saturday game to compensate on Matchday 27 and three additional match-ups in Bundesliga 2 on Easter Sunday.

Particular highlights include the Revierderby between Ruhr district rivals Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04 on Matchday 23 and FC Bayern München's trip to Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park in the fabled Klassiker on Matchday 27.

The next round of fixtures is expected to be released in calendar week 12 of the new year.
