Bayern's Badstuber back in training
Munich - FC Bayern München defender has taken a significant step forward in his recovery from injury after returning to training on Monday.
Full return unknown
The 25-year-old defender, who was previously out for 20 months with cruciate ligament damage, only returned to first team duty at the start of this season, but sustained a thigh injury in Matchday 3's
over VfB Stuttgart.
Under the watchful eye of Bayern conditioning coach Holger Broich, Badstuber took part in a 30-minute exercise to improve his fitness and regain a feel for the ball, before jogging for another half hour. The centre-back will continue his recovery programme over the coming weeks, but no date has yet been given as to when he can return to full-team training.
