Cologne - FC Bayern München superstar Arjen Robben has been chosen as Matchday 12's Player of the Week by bundesliga.com users following a sensational display in his side's 4-0 victory over TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

The Dutch winger garnered 49 per cent of the vote from bundesliga.com's readers after showcasing his prodigious talent yet again, recording a goal and an assist as the champions eased past Markus Gisdol's side in the Allianz Arena. The 30-year-old, who is on the shortlist to form part of UEFA.com users' Team of the Year 2014, crossed for Robert Lewandowski to score before half time and went on to net his fifth goal of the campaign with a brilliant chip in the 81st-minute.
In second place with 27 per cent of the vote was Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon international also registered a goal and an assist on Matchday 12 as his Borussia Dortmund side drew 2-2 away to SC Paderborn 07. Aubameyang converted Erik Durm's cross for the opener, his fourth goal of the season, before teeing up Marco Reus with a brilliant pass for BVB's second.

Closely behind Aubameyang with 24 per cent of the vote was FC Schalke 04 's Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who hit an excellent brace as the Royal Blues edged past VfL Wolfsburg 3-2 at the Veltins Arena. Both goals highlighted the Cameroonian's class: the first was a driven finish from the edge of the box while the second came after bamboozling the visiting defence with his quick feet.
