Cologne - 1. FC Köln's Pawel Olkowski has been voted Matchday 11's Player of the Week by bundesliga.com users following his match-winning display in the Billy Goats' pulsating 4-3 victory over TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

The seven-time Poland international, who joined newly-promoted Köln from Polish first-division outfit Gornik Zabrze this summer, netted two belters at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena on Saturday, earning the 24-year-old 48 per cent of the post-matchday poll.

Müller in close second

Olkowski beat FC Bayern München's hat-trick hero Thomas Müller (47 per cent) into second place. The attacking midfielder's treble in the 4-0 rout of Eintracht Frankfurt doubled his personal scoring tally for the season (6) and consolidated the Bavarians' position at the Bundesliga summit.

Hannover 96's Hiroshi Kiyotake finished third on five per cent after scoring his second goal of the campaign and providing the assist for Jimmy Briand's opener in the Reds' 2-0 win at Hertha Berlin on Friday evening. The victory lifted Tayfun Korkut's charges, who have now won their last three league matches, into fourth place.
