Cologne - Hamburger SV loan signing has been ruled out of the USA's upcoming international friendlies against Ecuador and Honduras because of a niggling rib complaint.

The 19-year-old trained with the Americans on Tuesday and Wednesday, but U.S. head coach Jürgen Klinsmann has since decided to send the Florida-born attacker back to Hamburg to recover from an injury originally sustained against parent club FC Bayern München on 20 September.
