Goal and assist

Cologne - Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's penalty precision brought FC Schalke 04 right back into their Matchday 4 clash with Eintracht Frankfurt, and earned the Cameroonian the award of bundesliga.com's player of the week

Taking 38 per cent of the vote, the 25-year-old beat VfL Wolfsburg's and the Japanese hot-shot into second and third respectively.
Not only did Choupo-Moting convert his sixth penalty out of six, courageously and confidently chipping the ball past Kevin Trapp, he then provided the right-wing cross which Julian Draxler headed in to complete the Royal Blues' recovery.

"I'm just happy that I scored and we came back in the game," said Choupo-Moting after netting his second goal since arriving from 1. FSV Mainz 05 in the summer. Now, he will be looking for an even more valuable goal - one which will earn his side all three points.
