Leverkusen's Rolfes suffers ankle injury
Leverkusen - Bundesliga leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen will be without captain for the next few weeks after the 32-year-old midfielder tore ankle ligaments in the Matchday 2 win over Hertha Berlin.

"Obviously it's really frustrating for me," he admitted following the decision to operate on the injury, "but I'm going to put everything I have into getting back out on the pitch as quickly as possible".
Rolfes has started all five of die Werkself's competitive outings under new head coach Roger Schmidt, helping the club secure their place in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League, reach the second round of the DFB Cup and record two wins from two in the Bundesliga.
Leverkusen, currently top of the league table for the first time in five years, are next in action on 12 September at home to SV Werder Bremen, before travelling to the French Riveira to face AS Monaco in the Champions League four days later.
