Wroclaw - New signings Ciro Immobile and Adrian Ramos were both on target for Borussia Dortmund in a 3-0 friendly victory over Polish side WKS Slask Wroclaw, a game which also saw an unexpected return to action for Jakub 'Kuba' Blaszczykowski.

Plenty of positives for Klopp

It was Dortmund's sixth win in seven pre-season friendlies as they move up the gears ahead of the

Supercup

against FC Bayern München on 13 August, and the 2013 UEFA Champions League finalists played some spectacular attacking football in Poland.

Blaszczykowski's return and the form of two summer signings will have been as big a boost as the result itself to coach Jürgen Klopp, just a week before the curtain-raiser to the 52nd Bundesliga season at the Signal Iduna Park between last season's double winners and their closest challengers.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

, who started in a wide role in a 4-4-2 formation, with

Jonas Hofmann

on the opposite flank, gave Dortmund the lead after a neat exchange of passes with

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

, Immobile's strike partner in the first half. The Armenian then turned provider for the Italian forward to make it 2-0 after just 20 minutes.

Kuba's comeback

Hofmann wasted a chance to make it three as Klopp's overtly attack-minded formation left their Polish hosts little chance to catch their breath. More chances went begging with Aubameyang and substitute Dong-Won Ji both denied, before Ramos obliged the third and final goal of the night. More joy was to come, however, in the form of Blaszczykowski's return to action after a six-and-a-half-month injury absence. The Pole,

itching to make up for lost time

this season, appeared for the final two minutes in his home country, earning the appreciation of both sets of fans. There was no involvement for Sven Bender, however, with an ankle injury still ruling him out of contention.
