Munich - The Bundesliga is set to return with a bang on 22 August, with 2013/14 double winners FC Bayern München hosting VfL Wolfsburg, who finished fifth last season, at the Allianz Arena (kick-off 18:30 GMT / 20:30 CEST).

Famous faces from Germany's top flight took to Twitter after the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga unveiled the fixture lists for the forthcoming campaign on Tuesday. bundesliga.com is on hand to round up the reaction...

Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer:
