Derdiyok swaps Sinsheim for Istanbul
Sinsheim – Eren Derdiyok is taking his leave of 1899 Hoffenheim, and the Bundesliga, to join Istanbul-based Turkish Süper Lig side Kasimpasa SK.
The 25-year-old Switzerland international scored just once in 20 competitive appearances for Hoffenheim after moving from Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the summer of 2012. Derdiyok spent the second half of the 2013/14 season on loan with the Werkself, who signed him from FC Basel in 2009.
