Bremen - SV Werder Bremen midfielder has his sights set on Matchday 34's end-of-season trip to Bayer 04 Leverkusen after returning to team training following a minor calf complaint.

'Looking forward to the game'

The Polish international has managed just ten appearances since joining the club from French outfit FC Girondins de Bordeaux during the winter break, but is optimistic he'll be in a position to add to that tally at the BayArena.

"Everything's going well," the 29-year-old told the club's website. "I'm able to take part in full-intensity training again."

Obraniak received further good news on Wednesday, after being called up to represent his native Poland in next Tuesday's international friendly with Germany at Hamburger SV's Imtech Arena. "I already know a few players from the Bundesliga," he explained. "I'm happy to get the call and I'm looking forward to the game."
