Munich - FC Bayern München could scarcely have wished for a more thorough warm-up ahead of Tuesday's must-win UEFA Champions League semi-final showdown with Real Madrid CF, after twice hitting back from a goal down en route to a rampant 5-2 win over SV Werder Bremen on Saturday.

FC Bayern München

bundesliga.com rounds up the views of some of those involved in Matchday 32's barmy encounter at the Allianz Arena...

Claudio Pizarro: We conceded two goals via counter-attacks in the first half. We can't afford to let that happen against Real, so we'll have to be on our toes. We played well in the second half and managed to score the goals to win the game. It was important that we won the match today and I hope we can do the same on Tuesday.

Thomas Müller: I don't want to go into great detail about our win today. It's all about Tuesday's match for us, and we need all the support we can get from everyone at the club.

SV Werder Bremen

Sebastian Prödl: We defended well in the first half, but fell apart in the second under immense pressure. We gave everything and could have maybe prevented one or two of Bayern's goals, but ultimately they were too strong for us.

Clemens Fritz: We held our own for a long time today and got stuck into the challenges. In the first half we executed our game plan exactly how we had hoped to. In the changing rooms at half-time, we knew that we were in for an intense 45 minutes. Unfortunately for us we weren’t as assertive in the challenges after the break and ended up just chasing shadows.
