Dortmund - Borussia Dortmund defender will be unavailable for up to a month after picking up an injury in his side's UEFA Champions League last 16 tie against FC Zenit on Wednesday evening.

The left-back was taken off in the 77th minute of the 2-1 defeat and, following an MRI scan on Wednesday, the club's chief medical officer Dr. Markus Braun confirmed the 26-year-old had torn adductor muscles and anticipated that he would need approximately four weeks to recover.
