Müller to miss Schalke test

Munich - FC Bayern München favourite Thomas Müller has been ruled out of his side's upcoming Matchday 23 clash with FC Schalke 04.

The 24-year-old scored twice against Hannover 96 at the weekend, but tore a thigh muscle for his troubles and is now expected to spend the next five days on the sidelines.

Müller has netted ten times in 21 Bundesliga appearances so far this season and helped himself to his fourth UEFA Champions League goal of the campaign in the Bavarians' last-16 first leg win over Arsenal FC on 19 February.
