bundesliga.com rounds up the post-match thoughts from each side at the final whistle...

Eren Derdiyok: I'm incredibly relieved. I've been knocked down, but I got back up again, even if it's taken a long time. I felt good at our mid-season training camp and this time I was able to reward my team with the winning goal.

Stefan Kießling: I was absolutely delighted for Eren; we got on really well with each other in his first spell here. I'm also pleased that we've managed to get all three points.

Moritz Leitner: It was certainly a bit unfortunate for us, but we've just got to ensure we stop conceding so many goals and start picking up points. If we'd got a point here, that would have been okay. But here we leave nothing again and that doesn't make things any easier.

Daniel Schwaab: We deserved to take the lead, but then we lost our way a little and let Leverkusen had some chances. After the break, both teams practically cancelled each other out. It's disappointing that we've not managed to get at least a point once again. Now we have to focus fully on the Augsburg game.
