The goal, which came in the 93rd minute of stoppage time, left many lost for words, including Stuttgart's Konstantin Rausch. bundesliga.com summarises the players' post-match reaction after a humdinger of a game at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Thiago Alcantara: We tried to get this win right to the very end. It was fantastic to score such a wonderful goal. I think teams tend to give their all when they play against Bayern and do everything to get a win. Stuttgart have a very strong team and made life very difficult for us, but this was a great chance to extend our lead over the teams in second and third, and we managed to take it.

Philipp Lahm: When it's 1-1 just a few minutes from time, then of course it's a lucky win. We were not as clinical as usual. We showed in the second half how we can play patiently. Stuttgart did a good job. Now everybody wants to be the first opponents to beat us.

Konstantin Rausch: I'm lost for words. I can't really believe it. We played a very good game - finally a great team performance for over 89 minutes. We shouldn't be conceding a goal like that. It felt like we had won, and then in the end we've got nothing. We've denied ourselves our just reward. We've had so much bad luck so far, but if we carry on playing like we did today, we'll get lucky eventually.
