Leverkusen - Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed South Korea Under-20 forward Seung-Woo Ryu on a one-year loan, with the option to make the deal permanent in twelve months time.

The 20-year-old joins the Bundesliga side from Jeju United FC and will be teaming up with die Werkself in their Portugal winter training camp in January.

The 1,71 meter attacker caught the eye when finding the net twice at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Turkey last summer, where he helped his country progress to the knockout stages. Ryu will be the second South Korean in the current Leverkusen squad, the Rhinelanders' already having signed Heung Min Son from Hamburger SV this summer. Son has had an impressive start to his Bayer career with seven goals from 13 Bundesliga outings.
