Alaba extends until 2018
Munich - Austrian international David Alaba has agreed a three-year contract extension with Bundesliga champions FC Bayern München, tying him to the Bavarians until 30 June 2018.
'One of the best full-backs in Europe'
"I've been at Bayern since 2008," said the 21-year-old. "It's long since become my club and I'm happy that everything is now set in stone and I'll be playing here until at least 2018."
"David came to Bayern at 16 and has developed excellently since then," said Bayern's Chief Executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. "He's one of the best and most successful full-backs in Europe at the moment and we're very pleased to be able to count on his performances in the future."
