Mandzukic out of Moscow clash
Munich - FC Bayern München forward will miss the club's UEFA Champions League tie away to CSKA Moskva on Wednesday due to calf trouble.
Bayern are currently top of Group D, having won all four of their games so far, and are already guaranteed a place in the knockout rounds. The Croatian frontman did not travel to the Russian capital with the rest of the party on Tuesday morning and was replaced in the squad by 18-year-old Julian Green.
, , , , Diego Contento and long-term absentee Holger Badstuber also stayed behind nursing various ailments. The lengthy injury list has provided teenagers Mitchell Weiser and Pierre Hojbjerg with an opportunity to travel with the first team squad.
