Munich - will have to do without the services of Arjen Robben for their UEFA Champions League tie away at FC Viktoria Plzen.

Robben was replaced after 25 minutes of Bayern's Matchday 10 3-2 win over Hertha Berlin due to a groin injury, and subsequently missed the weekend's victory against 1899 Hoffenheim.

Instead of joining the squad that travelled to the Czech Republic for their Group D Matchday 4 fixture, the Dutchman will remain in Munich to undertake an individual training programme having not recovered in time.

With a win over the Czech champions, Bayern could qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament, and equal the record of nine straight wins set by FC Barcelona in 2002-03.
